Research “New tactics of confronting racism and discrimination”

The research is carried out within the project “New tactics of Human rights Defense and Civil Actions” with support of the Antifascist Archive of nonviolent actions and the international Youth Human Rights Movement.

Activists, groups and organizations from different cities and countries work out various interesting and effective methods of confronting xenophobia, racism and intolerance. Thereby, their experience often remains unknown to anyone except themselves. Youth meeting “Intercultural and Interreligious Diologue v.s. Hate-motivated Violence in Europe” took place on 21-26 April in Bakuriani, Georgia. The major topics of the meeting were: the level of right-wing extremists’ violence in Europe, European and national legislation that addresses hate crimes, methods of counteracting that are available for the youth sector of civil society in Europe.
